Lumberjackie

I am loving plaid lately and I used to just think it was for Fall, but boy was I wrong. My sister gave me this coat and I fell in love. I love how big and baggy the fit is (I’m wearing a medium). I saw this coat and envisioned a mustard shirt with dark denim. And that’s just what I wanted until I realized I do not own one mustard shirt. I drove my booty over to H&M and found this linen shirt for $5! Not to mention while I was there I also got these three necklaces, all under $6. So yea, they are having a huge sale, like every other store right now trying to rid winter merchandise. Man time flies by, and today is thirsty thursday so whose having a drink? I hope I will be!

Taco Tuesday

We take Taco Tuesday extremely serious in this household. We celebrate this “holiday” every single Tuesday. I figured this was the perfect shirt for Masey boy to wear today, being festive and all. Mase just eats the shells and all the fixings, never the meat. I, myself recently stopped eating meat so I have purchased Gardein Beefless Ground so I will let you all know how it is! I can’t get over this kid honestly, he is just so adorable. Of course I had to bribe him with gummies to take these photos, I know, I know I shouldn’t bribe. But it was so worth it. Now I have these gorgeous taco photos forever. Happy Tuesday!

More than Moons

I consumed cheeseburgers in my weight this weekend so I felt this shirt was extremely fitting today, or barely fitting! I came across this website More Than Moons and it is all for foodies! So hello, right up my alley. I absolutely love everything they have to offer and I feel it is the perfect summer tank. Summer is all about bbq’s and bbq’s are all about grilling that cow and adding some cheese so, get in the spirit with me and check out the site. These tanks are a conversation starter for sure!

And yes those are dimples on my thighs, probably from eating one too many cheeseburgers! I don’t edit my photos because I really don’t care to blur out my cellulite. I just add a fade filter and call it a day. It’s there, oh well, I’m good.

Hip Hip Historay!

I am truly obsessed with Mason’s little shirt he recieved from Wee Rascals over the weekend. Their brand is based on historical men and women who have made a difference in our world. It allows children to focus on more than just comic book and cartoon characters. I’d much rather have my son wear Abe on his shirt rather than Thomas, no offense Thomas! It is historical mixed with modern styles. Two Mothers came up with this idea and I am just in awe of people like them. To get children to take a second and learn a thing or two about life before them, about something that actually matters, now to me that’s genius!

Marled by RC Part2

Today’s post is same top as yesterday, different look. I wasn’t asked to style this again, but it’s so nice I had to style it twice! This is the more “elegant” look as aforementioned in yesterday’s post. This could even be a bathing suit cover up on a boat or beach, just unbutton and bam! Styling anywhere you go. This is definitely a more ‘Mom’ look than yesterday. I could imagine myself wearing this to my sons future soccer games or something like that! This top is so clean and sophisticated and I could probably style it 10 more ways! I love it. Don’t forget to check out Marled by Reunited Clothing website, it will not disappoint! Have a great weekend and don’t do anything I wouldn’t do!

Marled by Reunited Clothing

I was given the opportunity to partner up with Marled by Reunited Clothing and style a piece of their choice. They sent me this shirt in the mail and I was ecstatic. I loved the spring/summer vibe with nautical colors. The slits up the side make it a bit more versatile, especially with the way I styled it by tying it in front. The brand chooses such a soothing color pallet for their clothing and it’s right up my alley. It is pieces you can go totally elegant with or add an edge. That is the type of clothing I adore because when you are a mom you need the best of both worlds. When I am with Mase I dress a little more traditional, when I go out with my girlfriends or to a date night, I spice things up a bit. Which brings me to my next topic, I had to style this shirt two ways. When I received it I had so many visions of how I can wear it and the different varieties I can pair it with. Today is the edgier look. Tomorrow I will post the more elegant/”mom” look. I hope you enjoy and be sure to check out their site! P.s. How cute is my little photobomber again! I can’t get enough of this kid.

This was another look I wore to a bridal shower recently. Statement necklaces are usually not my thing, but I love the way it pulled together the entire outfit. I am more of a dainty necklace, jewelry gal. I am trying to step out of my comfort zone more and more and broaden my horizons. And that’s just what I did and I loved it! I got this necklace sent to me for my blog over a year ago and it just wasn’t “me”. So no matter what I get sent to me for my blog, I always stay true to myself and not promote it or wear it if I don’t like it. So many people think bloggers will take whatever they can get and whatever companies will send them, no, not me. But in this case, it took me a full year to give the necklace a shot. I think it was one of those things where I had to see it on. Anyway I wore this ensemble to my gorgeous friend Sara’s shower. It was a beautiful shower with some of the best food I ever had! And mimosas. Yikes!

I don’t know what it is but I don’t think I am putting these boots away anytime soon. There are a taupe so they really can be worn year round. I know suede isn’t recommended in the heat but they are just too good to go into hibernation *for the summer*. An over the knee boot just gives that little bit of thigh which is an instant sexy factor. I’m a firm believer that if you show skin on one part of your body, to cover up everywhere else. Maybe that’s just the Mom in me talking but I have always been like that. Always keep it classy with a bit of sassy! And if it is one thing I am confident in, it’s the way I dress.

Ps. I had the cutest photobomber in these pics and I was honored he wanted to come in. He is going through a no pictures phase. Just last week he loved being in front of the camera. I call this toddlerlife! Oh and that beautiful blonde is my friend Sara, the bride to be.
